Business Accounting

This online course covers the skills and knowledge required to implement time management processes to organise and complete work tasks. It also addresses skills and knowledge to seek and review feedback for performance improvement and use technology appropriate to the task.

The unit applies to individuals working under direct supervision. These individuals apply basic skills and knowledge in a broad range of work settings.

This online course is broken up into three elements. These include:

1. Obtain data and resources for financial calculations

2. Selecting suitable accounting methods to carry out financial calculations

3. Checking results and calculations to meet required outcomes

At the end of this training, you will be asked to complete an online assessment.  The online quizzes will assess your skills and knowledge required to apply accounting techniques and methods of calculation, including to calculations of:

• goods and services tax (GST)

• simple interest

• compound interest

• basic loan calculations

As well as assessing your skills to check for accuracy of computational results and correct errors where required

You will need to achieve 100% on the quizzes to be deemed as successful, and you will have unlimited attempts to achieve this.  Once you have attained this 100%, you will be awarded an IIBP Certificate of Attainment to add to your portfolio.
