Group Chairman:  Mr Nicholas Louis Kirke

A multi award winning businessman and Medical Scientist Nick trained in Australia and the Royal Post Graduate Medical School, in Hammersmith, London in the early seventies.

 With 41 years of business experience in Australia, the Philippines and Indonesia, he has been successful across a broad array of industries, such as healthcare, hospitality, education, furniture manufacturing, retail, international recruitment, property development and consulting.

Nick built, owned and operated a Furniture conglomerate which included the Brisbane based Borsellino’s Fine Furniture, Bell Bros. Ltd the Art of Fine Furniture and the Jepara Fine Furniture Company in Central Java. His Consultancy practice was responsible for the successful launch of the Gold Coast based Magic Millions Organization into the Philippines as well as assisting the Trade Division of the Qld Government  to develop relationships with high level stakeholders in the Philippines Government and the Chamber of Mines.

As the founding President / CEO of Asia Pacific Medical & Diagnostic Services Inc. in the Philippines, Nick is still the only foreigner to have been granted a licence to establish, build, own and operate a 100 percent-foreign-owned, integrated, health-care system in the Philippines.  He conceived, designed, developed and built the Corporation’s medical, pathology, radiology and dental units and pioneered random drug testing protocols in the Country. For his pioneering efforts in the health care sector he was awarded both preferred investor and pioneer status resulting in being the dual recipient of the joint Australian New Zealand Chamber of Commerce and ANZ Bank Business Awards.

With a vision towards the enhancement of curriculums and preparing Filipinos for both regional and global competitiveness Nick established the Australian Skills Institute Pty Ltd in order to deliver and implement, an innovative, transnational, unique blended dual diploma program into the higher education sector into the Philippines.

Nick has served as the Vice President of the Queensland Filipino Chamber of Commerce, and the Australia Papua New Guinea Association. In 2010 he was appointed as Business Ambassador to the Philippines for the City of Ipswich for a 7 year term and more recently in 2021 he was the inaugural recipient of the Asia Global Heroes Highest Award for his services in Healthcare, Education and Employment in the Philippines.  

Currently he is the Managing Partner of the POEA Registered Recruitment Center Philippines Inc (RCP), Group Chairman of the Asia Pacific Education Group Pty Ltd (APEG), the International Institute of Business Professionals (IIBP), Global Skills Group Pty Ltd (GSG), and the Kirke Property Group (KPG)

 

Group President:  Dr Terry O’Hanlon-Rose

A highly passionate, driven, lifelong educator, Dr Terry O’Hanlon-Rose has achieved considerable success in the fields of education, business, skills development, and training.

Blessed with an innovative, enquiring, pioneering personality he has been called upon as a presenter, writer, columnist, and host of various international fora and publications. Never satisfied with the accepted norms in his chosen fields, he has held roles as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director and General Manager of a raft of domestic and international training organisations, colleges, and businesses.

He is the Executive Principal of a distinguished and highly successful P-12 College in Queensland, Australia and the President of the Asia Pacific Education Group and the International Institute of Business Professionals.

His studies include a Doctorate in Education, a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Information Technology as well as Degrees in Education and Science.  For his efforts in the fields of education and business he was awarded  Fellowships of the Australian College of Educators and the Business Educators’ Association of Queensland (Australia). As well he has received the National Literacy & Numeracy in Education Award, the De Bono Innovation award and the Australasian IT & T Excellence Award for his work in colleges and schools.

Apart from the development and management of Australian companies, Dr O’Hanlon-Rose developed education and business networks abroad with the result that he was invited to participate in several Australian Government international trade missions. These trade missions strengthened relationships with foreign colleges and universities and provided the opportunity to develop unique, innovative borderless blended delivery education models

Dr O’Hanlon-Rose is passionate about developing education and training through a focused and relevant curriculum to build a learning community of productive participants in a responsive and dynamic social construct. His belief that through active participation, and accepting a student’s own responsibility for learning, in a culture immersed in grounded values, supported by constructivist teaching in numeracy, literacy and employability skills, young people realise potential, and are actively engaged in their future and develop as learners and productive participants in society. His vision and advocacy highlights the premise that education should be affordable and accessible whilst utilising cloud-based building block models to the enrolment, education and training, assessment, certification cycles.

Director: Dr Diana N. Kirke, MD

Diana N. Kirke, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at Mount Sinai Doctors Faculty Practice, located at 5 East 98th Street. She received her medical degree from the University of Queensland and completed her Otolaryngology Residency via the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Adelaide, Australia.

After completing her training, she relocated to New York to complete a Research Fellowship and Masters in Neurolaryngology at Mount Sinai. This was followed by a Head and Neck Microvascular Fellowship at Boston University, and then a Laryngology Fellowship at both the New York Center for Voice and Swallowing Disorders and the Sean Parker Institute for the Voice.

Dr. Kirke has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters in both Laryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. She has also presented at both national and international society meetings in these two subspecialty disciplines.

A member of the Grabscheid Voice and Swallowing Center of Mount Sinai and the Head and Neck Institute, Dr Kirke cares for patients with voice, airway and swallowing disorders and head and neck cancers. 

 
 
 

Director: Dr. Reade A De Leacy, MD

Dr Reade De Leacy, MD, is the Director of the Neurointerventional Spine Program and Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Radiology in the Cerebrovascular Center at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Additionally, he serves as Director of Cerebrovascular Services at Mount Sinai Queens.

A specialist in diagnostic and interventional radiology, Dr. De Leacy is board certified in both diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology by the American Board of Radiology. He completed his fellowship trainings in neuroendovascular surgery and neurointerventional radiology under the tutelage of J Mocco, MD, MS, and Alejandro Berenstein, MD, as well as a fellowship in diagnostic neuroradiology at The Mount Sinai Hospital. He also completed fellowship training in general interventional radiology at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia and in musculoskeletal MRI at Qscan Radiology Clinics in Brisbane, Australia.

Dr. De Leacy obtained his medical degree and graduated with honors from the University of Queensland, Australia. In 2012, he completed his specialist training becoming a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, where he earned the prestigious Uhr Clarke Bursary and HR Sear Prize awards as the highest-ranked graduate from both diagnostic radiology and radiation oncology in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.

Dr. De Leacy has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters in diagnostic neuroradiology, interventional radiology, and neuroendovascular surgery.

Dr. De Leacy specializes in the endovascular treatment of cerebrovascular disorders including acute stroke, carotid stenosis, brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and minimally invasive spinal surgeries including biopsy, kyphoplasty, and ablative therapy for spinal and paraspinal tumors.

In 2020, Dr. De Leacy was a recipient of the Mount Sinai Cullman Family Award for Excellence in Physician Communication.

Group Administration Manager: Cherry Lou Eblamo

Cherry Lou Eblamo is a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA degree from Ateneo de Manila University. She has wide knowledge in finance, administration works, and provided consultancy services for foreign companies especially those that are Australian based.

She started her accounting career in a manufacturing company in 2004, then served in a retail company for more than two years, and moved to a human resources company which was then reactivated and under new management. Working in human resources company opened the doors to meet and work with different school heads and educators. Whilst working as the senior accountant of the human resources company, she was also engaged as the Enrolment/Admin Officer of Australian Trade Training College-North Brisbane.  Further to the experiences in different industries, she also worked in a software company, and in fitness industry.

Cherry is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Commerce and Industry (ACPACI).
