The productive meeting between IIBP and University of Makati (UMak) leadership has paved the way for future collaborative educational initiatives. UMak, a publicly funded institution in Makati, serves as a crucial link between academic learning and industry demands. Its mission is to develop well-rounded, IT-proficient citizens from both Makati and beyond, providing access to advanced technologies and preparing them for successful careers.
The University of Makati (UMak) is a public, locally funded university of the local government of Makati. It is envisioned as the primary instrument where university education and industry training programs interface to mould Makati and non- Makati youth into productive citizens and IT-enabled professionals who are exposed to cutting edge technology in their areas of specialisation. UMak is the final stage of Makati City’s integrated primary level to tertiary level educational system that enables its less privileged citizens to compete for job opportunities in various business and industries.
